Sunday, August 2, 2020: 2000. The HOPE 2020 conference was re-launched as an entirely online event, leaving just a few months to decide on all the needed infrastructure, software, services, and support. Presenters needed to adjust their plans to utilize the online platforms, and attendees found themselves participating via computer screens, rather than in person. This session will talk about the technology choices that were made - and why. It will also describe the vast corps of volunteers who helped to make it all happen. How did it all work out? This session will tell the story, including some reflection on lessons learned and next steps.
